Kristen holds a degree in theatre direction from Marymount Manhattan College. During her time living in NYC, Kristen worked as an equity stage manager and assistant director in off-Broadway playhouses. She ran a small theatre company with her husband, Luke Hancock. Together they produced, directed and acted in new and old works of theatre and short films. Past credits include: Most Massive Wins (director), The Ladies of The Corridor (ASM), Architect of Destiny (PSM), and Baltimore Waltz (director).

Most recently she has had the great honor of directing children's productions of Newsies and Once Upon a Mattress at Ave Maria Academy and high school productions of You Can't Take it With You and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at Seton LaSalle High School. 

Kristen spends most of her time stage managing and directing the lives of Luke, their kids Wyatt & Alex, and their English chocolate lab, Annie Rae. She loves the Heritage Players and is so excited to be a part of the team!
